29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) JGM, Inc. dba JGM Fabricators & Constructors LLC located at 71201 Valley Road Coatesville, PA, Production area: On or about July 26, 2023, the employer did not provide effective information and training on hazardous chemicals for employees engaged in structural steel fabrication. Employees are exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to the following: -Metals such as, but not limited to Cadmium, Copper, Vanadium, Lead, Chromium contained in bar and structural steel products -Granules such as, Aluminum Oxide and Titanium Dioxide contained in the abrasive material
