29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: (a) 158 West Jackson Street, New Holland PA, IMPACO Machine - On or about July 19, 2022, the ladder used to access the catwalk for the IMPACO machine was mounted approximately 3 inches in front of the 480 volt main power switch panel for the IMPACO machine. Employees were exposed to an electrical hazard. (b) 158 West Jackson Street, New Holland PA, Processing Maintenance Room - On or about July 19, 2022, sufficient access to the 240V electrical disconnect labeled "Fed from B3-P1-CB-15" was not provided due to the placement of equipment such as the Le BLOND lathe machine 21 inches in front of the disconnect switch, and other equipment placed directly in front of and 18 inches below the disconnect switch. Employees were exposed to an electrical hazard. (c) 158 West Jackson Street, New Holland PA, Processing Maintenance Room - On or about July 19, 2022, sufficient access to the welder disconnect switch and 240V disconnect switch labeled "Fed from B3-P1-CB-15" was not provided due to the ZEP part washer being placed directly against the wall underneath the disconnect. Employees were exposed to an electrical hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
