29 CFR 1910.178(q)(6): Powered industrial trucks were altered so that the relative positions of the various parts were different from what they were when originally received from the manufacturer, by the addition of extra parts not provided by the manufacturer, or by the elimination of any parts without the manufacturer's approval: (a) In the production and warehouse areas; Backup alarms located on Linde counterbalanced forklifts Model H18D-03, H18CT-03 and H20T-03 were installed by the manufacturer and had been disconnected or were no longer functioning.
