29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders was not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: a) Compressed gas bottle storage area; On or about May 28, 2020 and at times prior to the employer allowed compressed gas cylinders that were not in use to be stored in a manner that they could be knocked over or damaged by employees working in or passing through that area exposing the employees to struck by hazards.
