29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (a) Location - 15 South Avenue, Burlington, MA: On or about 11/07/2019, hazardous chemicals including corrosive liquid cleaning, descaling, and disinfecting agents are used in the kitchen of a restaurant and the employer has not developed a written program describing individual responsibility for and work site specific descriptions of container labeling and other forms of warning, safety data, sheets, and employee information and training for these and other hazardous chemicals used within the establishment. (b) Location - 15 South Avenue, Burlington, MA: On or about 11/07/2019, hazardous chemicals including corrosive liquid cleaning, descaling, and disinfecting agents are used in the kitchen of a restaurant and the employer has not developed a written program addressing the methods used to inform employees of the hazards associated with non-routine tasks and the hazards associated with chemicals contained in unlabeled pipes in their work areas.
