29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s): Employees were exposed to amputation hazards. The Federal F8 Asset # F343 100 ton mechanical power press had an opening in the guard in the right side above where the material is being fed into the press. It had a large enough hole that it did not prevent entry of hands or fingers from reaching through the guard.
