29 CFR 1910.303(c)(3)(i): Conductors were not spliced or joined with splicing devices identified for the use or by brazing, welding, or soldering with a fusible metal or alloy. Soldered splices were not first spliced or joined to be mechanically and electrically secure without solder and then soldered. All splices and joints and the free ends of conductors were not covered with an insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device identified for the purpose: On or about 11/29/2018, jobsite located at 1230 NW 36th St. Miami, FL 33142, an air compressor had a splice on its cord covered with electrical plastic tape, exposing an employee to an electrical shock hazard.
