29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: a) Machine shop back wall: The distance between the work rest and the grinding wheel on the right side of a Baldor bench grinder, model 7307, measured 1/2 inch on or about 9/19/17. b) Machine shop back wall: The distance between the work rest and the grinding wheel on the left side of a Baldor bench grinder, model 7307, measured 1/2 inch, on or about 9/19/17. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
