29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: a. On or about 02/28/2017 in the install shop the employees were exposed to a struck by hazard, in that, pedestal bench grinders work rest was 1/4 inch from the abrasive wheel while grinding metal parts. b. On or about 02/28/2017 in the fabrication shop, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard, in that, the Dayton 8 inch work rest was 1 inch from the abrasive wheel while grinding metal parts.
