29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: On or about February 22, 2017, employees were exposed to struck-by and contact hazards when the work site had not been evaluated to determine when personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to, safety glasses, hard hats, and gloves should be used. Employees handle wood and doors. Employees use equipment such as, but not limited to, staplers, routers, and saws. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
