29 CFR 1910.1052(i)(1): It was reasonably foreseeable that employee's skin may contact solutions containing 0.1 percent or greater methylene chloride and the employer did not provide conveniently located washing facilities capable of removing the methylene chloride and did not ensure that affected employees use these facilities as needed: (a) On and before 02/08/2017, throughout spray area, for the employee wearing a dust mask while spraying duct work with adhesive containing ingredients such as, but not limited to, methylene chloride. Employee was exposed to methylene chloride at a short term exposure limit (STEL) of 178.740 ppm which has a severity of approximately 1.43 times the short term exposure limit (STEL) of 125.000 ppm. The sample was taken over a 15-minute period. The employer did not ensure that affected employees use washing facilities as needed for methylene chloride.
