29 CFR 1910.1048(m)(1)(iii): The employers did not include formaldehyde in the hazard communication program established to comply with the HCS (� 1910.1200). Employers did not ensure that each employee had access to labels on containers of formaldehyde and to safety data sheets, and was trained in accordance with the requirements of HCS and paragraph (n) of this section. a) Chick room, on or about 12/13/16: A written hazard communication program for formaldehyde exposures was not developed and implemented for the workplace. Sampling on 12/13/16 showed that a maintenance employees was exposed to a short tem exposure limit of 1.1 parts per million. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
