Each employer who has a workplace or work operation covered by this standard shall determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level. a. At the work site, employees had exposure to lead above the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) in the glass line breaking area. The employer did not perform any initial monitoring to determine exposure levels that included the glass line breaking area.
