29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): The following items were not inspected for defects at intervals as defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii) of this section or as specifically indicated, including observation during operation for any defects which might appear between regular inspections: a). On or about 11/18/14, on site, for a Skydyne employee working at The Skydyne Company, Port Jervis, NY, in the dip tank area. The employee is using a 2000lb crane to lift metal pieces in and out the dipping tanks. The employer did not conduct frequent inspections of the crane at daily to monthly intervals.
