29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(5): Class I asbestos work was not performed using one or more of the control methods required by 29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(5)(i) through (g)(5)(vi): a) On or about 20 June 2014, the employer did not ensure that their employee conducting demolition work in the cafeteria and removing pipe thermal system insulation (TSI) containing 5-35% chrysotile asbestos, was protected by one or more of the following controls methods: asbestos work was not conducted inside of a negative pressure enclosure or by using glove bag systems, thereby exposing their employee to the hazards associated with asbestos.
