29 CFR 1910.266(i)(10)(i): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (i) of this section by preparing a written certification record containing the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature. If the employer relies on training conducted prior to the employee's hiring or completed prior to the effective date of this section, the certification record did not indicate the date the employer determined the prior training was adequate. A.) Isaac Bundy dba Bundy Tree Service, wooded area off of Pollock Lane, Parker, PA 16049, on or about June 6, 2014 and times prior thereto: An employee on-site was felling trees for logging operations with a chain saw. The employees prior logging safety training was not evaluated to determine if the training met the requirements noted in the 29 CFR 1910.266(i)(3). In addition, a written certification was not maintained indicating the date the employer determined the prior training was adequate.
