29 CFR 1910.106(e)(9)(iii): Combustible waste material and residues in a building or unit operating area were not kept to a minimum, stored in covered metal receptacles and disposed of daily: a. EWR Airport - Hangar 54, throughout facility Combustible waste material cans throughout the hangar facility were not disposed of daily. Several waste materials cans were overflowing with debris, rags, and towels which were used to wipe/clean aircraft surfaces and contained products which included, but were not limited to UN1268 Petroleum Distillates NOS, BP Turbo Oil 2197, Jet-A fuel, and Skydrol. Waste cans were clearly marked "Empty Every Night." Violation observed on or about February 4, 2014 b. EWR Airport - Hangar 55, throughout facility Combustible waste material cans throughout the hangar facility were not disposed of daily.
