29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about February 19, 2013 - Quality assurance department, a Marvel bandsaw, Series 8 Mark II S/N#827087 was being operated while the unguarded portion of the blade was exposed. b) On or about February 19, 2013 - Machine shop, a Bridgeport vertical milling machine S/N#2J144121 was being operated with unguarded rotating parts. c) On or about February 19, 2013 - Warehouse, Recut bay, a Little HEM Saw Model# V100LM-1, S/N#391393 was being operated while the unguarded portion of the blade was exposed. d) On or about February 19, 2013 - Tube mill, 5K-Cutoff, a Doall bandsaw was being operated with the unguarded portion of the blade exposed.
