29 CFR 1910.29(a)(2)(v): All exposed surfaces shall be free from sharp edges, burrs or other safety hazards. A). Vortex Recycling/Southside of the Megacrusher Below the Barrel Screen/Mobile Ladder Stand - On or about 8/30/12 and at times prior thereto, the ladder stands stair treads were dented, damaged and worn. The stairs were covered in oil residue and fluff. The handrails were also covered in an oily residue. The condition potentially exposed personnel to a fall hazard.
