29 CFR 1910.303(c)(3)(i): Conductors were not spliced or joined with splicing devices identified for the use or by brazing, welding, or soldering with a fusible metal or alloy. Soldered splices were not first spliced or joined to be mechanically and electrically secure without solder and then soldered. All splices and joints and the free ends of conductors were not covered with an insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device identified for the purpose: On or about November 11, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that sensor wire (yellow) at the rear of the box erector machine line was appropriately spliced, connected and insulated to prevent accident exposure and electrical shock to employees who are working in and around the area.
