29 CFR 1910.1053(e)(1): The employer did not establish a regulated area wherever an employee's exposure to airborne concentrations of respirable crystalline silica was, or could have been reasonably expected to be, in excess of the PEL: At the Coreslab Structures Inc. facility located at 1615 W Arrow Street in Marshall Missouri 65340, on October 2, 2024, and at times prior: The employer did not establish a regulated area to minimize and eliminate employees' exposure to airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica in excess of 50 g/m3. An employee was exposed to an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 98 ug/m3 of air which is 1.96 times the 8-hour TWA Permissible Exposure Level (PEL) of 50.0 micrograms per cubic meter of air while conducting sandblasting operations.
