29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a) On or before 08/20/2024, the employer did not conduct an annual periodic inspection of the energy control procedures for the tornado pulper to ensure the procedures were adequate for isolating the tornado pulper from the whitewater feed line that had the potential to pour water into the tornado pulper where employees were working.
