29 CFR 1910.333(c)(6): Where an employee is required to handle long dimensional conductive objects in areas with exposed live parts, the employer did not institute work practices (such as the of insulation, guarding, and material handling techniques: a) At 5312 Harbor Rd, Bradenton, Florida: On or about July 30, 2024, in the tree, the employer exposed a tree trimmer employee to an electrocution hazard while performing tree trimming work using a chain saw and a pole saw within 10-feet of energized 7.6 kV overhead distribution lines in that insulation, guarding, and material handling techniques were not implemented to minimize the hazard.
