29 CFR 1910.1052(g)(3)(i): The employer did not select and provide to employees, the appropriate atmosphere-supplying respirator specified in 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(3)(i)(A) and selected or used half masks: a) Spray Finishing: An employee engaged in spray finishing using Choice Adhesive Formica F-171, which contain 70-90% methylene chloride, was required to wear a North 7700 series elastomeric half-mask dual cartridge respirator. The employee was exposed to airborne concentrations of methylene chloride at 20.1 parts per million and in excess of OSHA's Action Level, 8-hour Time Weighted Average of 12.5 parts per million. The employer did not select and provide affected employees with appropriate atmosphere-supplying respiratory protection, on or about 7/2/24.
