29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) Mecatherm line: On or about June 07, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees were required to perform maintenance operations on the ring remover CR2450, without being protected from moving parts once inside the cage. b) Mecatherm line: On or about June 07, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees were required to manually pull trays while the conveyor on the ring remover CR2450 was moving without being protected from rotating parts.
