29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1):Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): a. On or about April 9, 2024, in the powder coating area, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when a Nissan forklift with a missing taillight was not taken out service. b. On or about April 9, 2024, in the powder coating area, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when a Toyota forklift with broken taillights was not taken out service. c. On or about April 9, 2024, near the abrasive blasting area, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when a Nissan forklift with a missing taillight was not taken out service. d. On or about April 9, 2024, near the paint area, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when a Nissan forklift with broken taillights was not taken out service.
