29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact came closer than 10 ft. (305 cm) to any unguarded, energized overhead line: Location: 95 Taylortown Rd., Montville, NJ 07045. a) The employer failed to ensure that employees working in close proximity to 7.2 kV power lines maintained a 10-foot distance between such power lines and their longest conductive object. On April 4, 2024, an employee engaged in tree trimming activities contacted 7.2 kV power lines, resulting in a fatality.
