29 CFR 1910.178(m)(3): Unauthorized personnel were permitted to ride on industrial trucks: (a) PSS Manufacturing Company Inc., 405 School Road, Denver, Pennsylvania - Employees rode on a skid with metal railings on the forks of forklifts to reach items stored in the rafters and to reach the lock on the retractable air hose reel, exposing the employees to hazards, including falling to a lower level and to getting caught in moving parts of powered industrial trucks, on or about the week of November 16, 2023. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
