29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Godfrey and Wing Inc. located at 1400 N. Summit St. Toledo, Ohio, 43604: On or about November 16, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that the reciprocating motion of the tank doors and stable loading table of the API machines were adequately guarded. Employees performing activities such as, but not limited to, manually loading or unloading baskets of product into the tanks of the API machine were exposed to caught in hazards.
