29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1):Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): (a)3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Tote Filling Area - On or about October 11, 2023 the YALE powered pallet jack at the Tote Filling area was used without the cover in place and was not removed from service, which exposed employees to electrical shock from the 24VAC batteries. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
