29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service and an employee was using it before repairs and tests necessary to render the equipment safe were made: a) On or about August 8, 2023, at 1000 SE 8th St, Hialeah, FL 33010, the employer did not remove from service the GNB GTCIII8-750T1 Industrial Battery Charger where the outer Insulated portion was damaged with exposed wiring; therefore, exposing employees to injuries related to electrical shock hazard. b) On or about August 8, 2023, at 1000 SE 8th St, Hialeah, FL 33010, the employer did not remove from service the Applied Energy Solution 24R0750E3D Industrial Battery Charger where the outer Insulated portion was damaged therefore, exposing employees to injuries related to electrical shock hazard.
