29 CFR 1910.307(c):Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous class II location, or safe for the hazardous class II location: (a) Production Hallway: Electrical outlet boxes, normal lighting snap switches, overhead lighting, and encapsulating/tablet making machines, located in a class II, Division I location were not intrinsically safe and, approved for a Class II Division I location on or about 5/18/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
