29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Grounding. Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were dispensed into containers and the nozzle and container were not electrically interconnected. This violation was observed on or about April 17, 2023, in the facility, employees are allowed to dispense a flammable chemical (Barsol A5657 RSC 10 Thinner) elevated on a stand into smaller containers. The elevated barrel was not grounded and bonded. According to the Barsol A-5657 Safety Data Sheet, this thinner has a flashpoint of -17 degrees Celsius, 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure flammable chemicals are protected from potential ignition sources.
