29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Pettisville Grain Co. located at 1825 County Road DE in Pettisville, Ohio 43553: On or about October 27, 2022 the employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their work area. Employees performing daily work activities in and around grain storage structures were exposed to hazards associated with pesticides, Drexel Malathion 5EC, and combustible dust such as, but not limited to, burns, skin and eye irritation, and damage to the nervous system.
