29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity. Location: a) On the first floor of the jobsite On or about June 14, 2022, an employee was removing an existing wooden structural beam on the first floor of the jobsite when the beam collapsed. The employee fell twelve feet onto the basement level. Employer did not ensure the working surface had requisite strength and structural integrity.
