29 CFR 1926.651 (c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22 m) or more in death so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.6 2M) of lateral travel for employees: a) Todd's Lane (East Bound Lane) & Edgemoor Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19802 (East Bound Lane): On or about May 5, 2022, the employer failed to ensure that employees engaged in excavation/trenching work were provided adequate means of egress by way of a stairway, ladder, ramp, or other safe means. The employer failed to provide egress in a trench that had a lateral travel distance of greater than 25 feet.
