29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE. Each such employee was not trained to know at least the following: When PPE is necessary; what PPE is necessary; how to properly don, doff, adjust, and wear PPE; the limitations of the PPE; and, the proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE. Central Paper Stock, Inc. located at 6665 Jonas Place in Berkeley, MO 63134: The employer is failing to train employees in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while exposed to chemical and fall hazards. This condition was most recently observed on or about 11/17/2021 when the employer failed to provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE in the following instances: a) The use of appropriate hand eye/face protection while changing liquid propane tanks on powered industrial trucks (PIT); b) The use of eye protection while using compressed air to clean equipment or personnel; c) The use of fall protection systems while exposed to elevated fall hazards.
