29 CFR 1910.335(a)(2)(i): When working near exposed energized conductors or circuit parts, each employee did not use insulated tools or handling equipment if the tools or handling equipment might make contact with such conductors or parts. If the insulating capability of insulated tools or handling equipment is subject to damage, the insulating material shall be protected. a) Jobsite 319 South Street, Northborough, MA on or about September 8, 2021, an employee working from an uninsulated Nifty SD65 aerial lift performing tree trimming operations with a Stihl HL Hedge Trimmer near energized 13kv overhead power lines did not use insulated tools or handling equipment if the tools or handling equipment might make contact with such conductors. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
