29 CFR 1910.272(g)(5):The employee acting as an observer for bin, tank, or silo entry operations in the grain handling facility was not trained in rescue procedures, including notification methods for obtaining additional assistance: On or about July 27, 2021 at the jobsite located at 545 N. Bird Ave. BIRD CITY, KS 67731 in grain bin 7, Employees entered into a grain bin to vacuum out grain and were exposed to engulfment hazards. The employee observing the grain bin entry operation had never acted as a observer for this type of operation in the past and had not received proper training on how to do this position.
