29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about 06-14-2021, and times prior thereto, located at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, 701 E Byrd Street Richmond, Virginia 23219, room 229, employee(s) were exposed to fire and electrical hazards from an energized temporary extension cord that ascended in to the ceiling above the ceiling tile and was zip-tied to the roof structural columns in order to supply portable 220 VAC power to the rear of the currency sorting equipment. The temporary cord was used in lieu of permanent electrical wiring. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
