29 CFR 1910.215(a)(2): Abrasive wheel(s) used on grinding machinery were not provided with safety guard(s) which covered the spindle end, nut, flange projections: Employees engaged in maintenance and repair activities including grinding at the Baldor Buffer/Grinder Cat #1251, Spec #G12-91-1 P2-94, HP 2, Phase 1, 60 Hz, 115/230V, 19/9.5A, 3600 RPM located in the maintenance shop area were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the side guards installed over the side flanges and wheels to prevent contact was not provided. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
