29 CFR 1910.335(b): No alerting techniques were used to warn and protect employees from hazards which could cause injury due to electric shock, burns, or failure of electric equipment such as signs and tags, barricades or an attendant when signs, tags and barricades did not provide sufficient warning and protection from electrical hazards: a. On or about October 9, 2020, at 1245 Mill Creek Rd, Bradenton, FL 34212, employees were exposed to the hazard of operating a non-insulated vehicle mounted aerial lift near overhead power lines, in that, means were not implemented to protect and warn employees such as, but not limited to, signs and tags, barricades or an attendant when signs, tags and barricades did not provide sufficient warning and protection from electrical hazards.
