29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2):Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Zinc Oxide listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 5 mg/m3. a) Welding area/Production Department - On or about 08/11/2020, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to an airborne concentration of 6.0 mg/m3 TWA and 14.3 mg/m3 STEL of Zinc Oxide fumes in excess of the 8-hour TWA concentration of 5 mg/m3 TWA and 10 mg/m3 STEL when employees were welding sheets of galvanized steel.
