29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- Lot 549, 2 Westmont Drive, Medford NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 8 feet to the ground surface below, when performing sheathing and sheathing related activities at unprotected edges, from unguarded window openings, when accessing and egressing the second floor of a residential structure through a window opening from an extension laddder, etc. without the use of fall protection. At the time of these exposures these employees had not received fall hazard recognition and minimization training from the company. Condition noted on or about 10/20/2020. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
