29 CFR 1910.184(i)(9)(iii): Synthetic web slings. Removal from service. Synthetic web slings shall be immediately removed from service if any of the following conditions are present: Snags, punctures, tears or cuts; a) On or about September 24, 2020 a synthetic web sling was used to perform a lift that had visible snags and tears in the sling. b) On or about September 24, 2020 at least three synthetic web slings that were available for use by welders in the weld bays had visible tears and snags in them.
