29 CFR 1926.1425(b):While the operator was not moving the suspended load, employees were within the fall zone and not engaged in; (b)(1): hooking, unhooking or guiding a load; (b)(2) initial attachment of the load to a component or structure or (b)(3) operating a concrete hopper or bucket. On or about July 16, 2020 at 4630 Chambers Road in Macon, Georgia, employees making repairs to a sign suspended by a crane were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that the employees were working underneath a suspended sign within the fall zone area. The approximate weight of the large sign was 2,220 pounds.
