29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: The employer is failing to protect employees from citric acid and sodium chlorite in the fabrication area. This was most recently documented on July 23, 2020 at the worksite located at 1921 West US Highway 50, Lone Jack, Missouri. Employees were exposed to corrosive hazards while working in fabrication, in proximity to the spray applications of Acidified Sodium Chlorite (ASC- Combination combined chemicals (ASC), area where there was no eye wash station within the work area for immediate emergency use.
