29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s). On or about 3/5/2020 at 11388 GA-17, Lavonia, GA: Where employees operated a Linde powered industrial truck with defects and deficiencies such as, but not limited to seatbelt not fully retracting in housing and the hydraulic lines damage from the metal material exposing employees to struck-by and caught-under hazards. The employer failed to remove the powered industrial truck from service until the repairs could be made.
