29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration:; Such activities were not performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person. a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees performing cedar shake siding work from a 4-teir fabricated frame scaffold and a ladder jack scaffold were exposed to falls between approximately 20-feet to 27-feet. The fabricated frame scaffold was erected by untrained and inexperienced employees without the supervision and direction of a competent person; on of about 01/24/2020. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
