29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: a) Ruscilli Construction Company Inc. located at 230 E. Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215: On and preceding December 10, 2019, the controlling employer did not ensure that stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches were equipped with at least one handrail. Stairwells with 6-12 risers, used as a primary means of access to the upper levels were not equipped with handrails. The following condition exposed employees to falls down stairs due the lack of availability of rails to use should they lose their balance while ascending or descending the stairway.
